About the Jurors...
Bridgette Mongeon has worked in the creative industry for over 20 years. She is a painter (watercolor) but is known for her sculptures of entertainers such as BB King, Willie Nelson, and Bill Monroe, as well as her numerous commissions of children. She has been featured both nationally and internationally for her work. Bridgette enjoys encouraging others to achieve their artistic goals and does so through her workshops, lectures and articles that she writes. She has been a contributing writer with several books and is presently completing a book with Mike de la Flor titled Digital Sculpting with Mudbox: Essential Tools and Techniques For Artists. Past experience includes working as adjunct faculty at The Southwest School Of Art and Craft in San Antonio, TX and studio assistant at The Glassell School Of Art in Houston, TX.
Christina Sizemore is a graphic designer and photographer with experience in print design, web design, video production, advertising and marketing. In her free time she works in multi-medial painting, pen and ink illustration, and digital collage and has shown her fine art work at a variety of venues in Houston and Tulsa, OK. She has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Oral Roberts University, a Certification of Advancement in Fine Art, and a wealth of experience but in her words she’s “always learning”. She's an advocate of education and arts programs for kids, and is amazed by the immense talent in this year's Culture Shapers submissions.
