About the Jurors...
Janice Kite - Owner and operator of Kite and Associates, an award-winning graphic design studio. Organized in 1980, it specializes in high-quality design of logos, brochures, illustrations, and watercolors. In the past, Janice has taught design and layout to graphic design students at the Art Institute of Houston, juried numerous art shows and is a well-known silversmith, enamelist and teacher of cloisonne.Lee Rose - I have an extensive background covering several decades in graphic art and electronic media. I have been employed as a medical illustrator by UTMB in Galveston; AV Corporation/WBS Port Production and Baylor College of Medicine, both in Houston; and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. I received professional art training at Art Center College of Design in California, and earned both a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree from the Medical College of Georgia.
Steven Sessions - Owns a 24-year old Design Firm providing Visual Design, Brand Strategy and Consulting Services to companies large and small in a wide variety of industries. Sessions has won nearly 180 medals in regional and national juried competitions for creativity. Several pieces he has created have been nominated for inclusion in The Permanent Archives of the U.S. Library of Congress. His design work was chosen for Cultural Exchange Exhibit in Beijing China, sponsored by the Art Directors Club of N.Y. Articles about his work have been featured in nearly 60 design and business magazines and books. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Art Institute of Houston and of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. More info: www.SessionsGroup.com
