About the Jurors...
Valerie Olsen - Associate Director and Curator of Exhibitions at the Glassell School of Art of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Formally Chief Curator and Curator of Drawings, Prints and Photographs at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Instructor at the University of New Orleans, in Drawing, Color Theory and Art History.Robert W. Parker - Art teacher in the Brenham Independent School District for 32 years. Head of the Art Department in Brenham High School for 21 years. Certified AP Studio Art Instructor. Regional and State VASE judge.
Roberta Sajda - Painter, Photographer, and Career Art Teacher. Is currently working as a fulltime artist in her studio. As an Art Educator she was featured on the TV series, "Building Better Minds." Former Texas Secondary Art Educator of the year. Roberta was also honored with the Crystal Award for effective teaching.
