First place in Electronic [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It was another awesome display of talent among our high school students. Out of 555 entries in the two categories above, two individuals came away with the <strong>GRAND PRIZE of $5,000 each</strong>!</p><p>Congratulations to <strong>Lane Preston</strong>, a Senior at Jersey Village (Alana Jordan-teacher) who won 1st place and $5,000 in Photography. First place in Electronic Media and $5,000 went to <strong>Julianne Crea</strong>, a Junior at Cy-Fair (Earl Emery- teacher). Can you imagine being in high school and getting a check for $5,000? Not in my day!</p><p>Congratulations to the other 18 winners who took home anywhere from<strong> $250 to $2,000</strong>. And then there&#8217;s the <strong>HUNDREDS</strong> who took the risk, presented their art, and gained valuable experience for the next time. All winners and the pictures of the entries will be posted in the next few days.</p><p>Amazingly, 12 of the 20 winners came from <strong>Cy-Fair ISD</strong>.
