In spite of cut backs this year in some art programs, the 2006 total is the 2nd highest ever, falling only about 94 shy of the 2005 record. Congratulations for ALL of you. This is one of those “experiences” that is just one step in your art journey. I’ll be posting many statistics over the next week (where the pieces came from, etc.). Also, there will two opportunities to view ALL the competition entries, Saturday, November 4th and 11th from 8 am to 9 am only. I’ll announce which categories will be viewed later this week. Again, you took a big step and now it’s up to the judges to go to work. Much more data and statistics next week, and then all of those teasers that lead up to the $100,000 sweeptakes, November 29th. Art Rocks!
“If I knew what the picture was going to be like I wouldn’t make it. It was almost like it was made already.. the challenge is more about trying to make what you can’t think of.” Cindy Sherman

“It’s outstanding the number of entries Culture Shapers receives every year. This contest greatly inspires many high school students around this area. It now seems Culture Shapers seems to be growing, so the competition. It makes me happy many students are unleashing their artistic talent thanks to this contest. Art Rocks!! :)”
