On Saturday, November 4th (from 8-9:00am only) you can view the Painting and Drawing entries (482 pieces). Then on Saturday, November 11th the public can view (8-9:00am only) Mixed Media, Electronic Media, and Photography entries (659 pieces). This is a great teaching and learning opportunity. Unofficial Individual High School Entry Data
Published by Ernie October 31st in Visual Arts Contest.We had 68 different high schools involved in the competition this year. And five people submitted entries that were being home schooled. The top 5 high schools with number of entries were: John Cooper 90, Clements 68, Cinco Ranch 62, Klein 61, and Memorial 47. More data every day!
After taking in 900+ entries in the last two days, we have a lot of clean up and double checking to do, but UNOFFICIALLY we’re at 1,356 entries. A total of 21 different ISD’s submitted entries plus home schoolers and that awesome private school in the Woodlands with 90 entries- The John Cooper School.

Congratulations to the 105 students who entered the 2006 Culture Shapers Sculpture category on Friday, October 20th. Judging took place on Saturday, October 21st and the TOP 15 finalists will be posted to this site on Monday, November 13th.

The judges have now narrowed the field from 105 to 15. The really hard work now begins. The quality this year has moved up a notch. It seems that’s the case each year in all categories.
